Biography of Aya Muramatsu
Passionate about color, Aya Muramatsu studied chromatic effects as well as traditional Japanese colors in Japan. After her textile designer diploma in France, she continued her research on the transformation of materials.
From 5 millimeter miniatures to colossal 8 meter objects, from plant settings to urban landscapes, she always applies with the same passion to create wonder in the viewer.
Her fields of activity are varied: window display, event decoration, scenography, advertising, collaborations with major brands like Dior or Chanel, cooperation as an expert with the French Color Committee and Intercolor... Since 2017, she has also produced animated films with paper objects; a mode of expression that perfectly combines imagination with precision know-how.
